C2 Raised Toilet Seat with Commode Bucket

We had to get this for a family member during their surgery recovery and was a very good decision. The sturdiness, comfort, lightweight yet extremely secure, and well manufactured raised toilet seat was a blessing. Make sure you have the leg raise buttons popped out their holes if you've never had to put something like this together before just as an fyi. Very reasonably priced as it's probably the only one you'll ever need to buy. It's easy to size properly to your needs. I highly recommend this toilet seat.

Very steady and substantial for person having trouble rising up off of toilet. The handles are at a great level for a tall or short person. Extremely handy for my husband to use.

This riser was purchased to facilitate post surgery recovery at home. It took 15 minutes to construct and customize, based on the available space in our bathroom. All parts are lightweight and well made. Rubber handles and leg ends have made the unit stationary and safe.

Very sturdy and fit above our toilet seat easily. Made me feel comfortable.

This Homland product arrived quickly and well-packed. I assembled and have been using it for about a month as a bedside commode. (It can be changed easily to a raised, over-the-toilet seat.) My pros and cons below are based on this use: Pro:
1. The unit is very sturdy but lightweight. Excellent build quality. Easily cleans with a sponge or wipe.
2. The unit's height and width adjustments will accommodate most everyone.
3. The foam seat and armrests are exceptionally comfortable.
4. When used as a bedside commode, the "bucket" accepts standard sanitary inserts and liners. (See #3 below.)
5. The toilet paper bracket and magazine holder are pleasant additions, adding to the value. Con:
1. Step 1 of the assembly can be confusing. The photo in the manual is misleading; the website video is clearer.
2. In Step 4 of the assembly, the double "pins" for adding the armrests to the frame can be physically hard to press.
3. Be careful!! When used in "bedside commode mode," the sanitary liner -- a must -- can easily tear when the bucket is slid in or out to empty. (Really, the bucket slider assembly should be redesigned.)

Easy for my son to assemble, very comfortable and adjustable. I really like it.
I would've liked it. The pan was not a slide in so that you could use pan liners more easily. And plus if you can't bend down at the waist very much it's hard to get it in and out by yourself.
