R6 Upright Rollator Walker with Seat

Great product. Box was beat up.but i found it was ok

I have a number of assistive devices and use a regular walker and a rollator, but I have never had an upright walker so was excited to try this one.

First I needed to assemble it. One is never sure how easy/hard that will be. Manufacturing quality and a good manual make all the difference, and this scored on both points.

There is a parts list with descriptions in the manual, and they even include a little screwdriver which is a nice touch. I like that they label the parts and show exactly how they should align. That was very helpful and made assembly fairly straightforward. It��s important to pair the washer with the knob, and one realizes it when making height adjustments.

You never know what height you��ll need until after assembly. I��m 5��6�� and decided for initial assembly I��d put the legs at the second to lowest height. My guess was that I might need to make it one hole taller but that turned out not to be the case. After assembly it felt too high so I repositioned it a notch lower, the lowest the walker would go, and that put my arm bend a little wider than 90 degrees which is perfect for me. They say the walker is good for heights from 4��9��- 6��4��. Unless I��m overlooking something (can always be the case) I see no way to get it lower than I have it for my 5��6�� frame. There is a lot of room to make it taller so 6��4�� is entirely credible.

There is a padded seat which is actually comfortable for short periods and I appreciate the hand supports by the seat making it easy to stand up. There are brakes which are tension-adjustable, a very nice feature.

I have used this walker exclusively outside, as for inside my other walkers are lighter and take up less space. It could be more psychological because it��s not wider so much as obviously taller. The walker is large. There is a strap under the seat which with one pull, folds the walker. The problem is, with the high arm rests, it��s difficult to manage when folded because of weight distribution. It fell over a couple of times when I tried to maneuver it against a wall so now, I keep it in the garage unfolded and use it from there.

The arms are very comfortable and for longer walks it really is great to be standing upright vs slightly hunched over. It��s so much more natural. The storage under the seat holds a lot, and I��ve been able to walk to a local market a half mile away and shop for a few things! The quality of the walker is high. The seat is great to take a rest en route.

The downside is that the walker is tough and awkward to try and fit into a car. One can put it in the back of an SUV, but it does take up a lot of room.

Am pleased with this walker - the quality and it does what it says it will do: enable comfortable upright walking!

I like that it wasn't difficult to set up and the most important thing is that it feels very safe and sturdy. It does not feel like it would tip over ever and although it does take up more space than I thought it would it's worth it to have the balance and security while it glides smoothly over the ground.

I got this because I have a really bad tendency of leaning over when using a regular rollator. This one helps me to stand up straight, which is so much better for my back. I'm really excited, as I had no idea they even made them like this.

The rollator is nice looking. The padded seat is comfortable and the storage compartment is a good size. It isn't too heavy and I think is actually lighter than my old one. The brakes work well and it seems durable overall.

The HOMLAND Upright Walker with Seat for Seniors, Adjustable Padded Arm support is a nice walker but I am having a little bit of a problem with one of the brakes. I have adjusted it as the instructions state but the plate that sits just above the wheel seems like it may be bent a little and it drags on the wheel preventing it from operating as smoothly as it should. Hopefully my husband can pry it up a little. I did find that it took about 30 minutes to assemble. You have to install all 4 wheels, the arm rests, the arm grips and the backrest. It is fairly lightweight for its size. I was hoping it would fold up more flat but it does still take up a lot more room than I'd like. The seat is comfortable but if you are nearing the 300 pound weight limit I think it would be too narrow. I weigh about 160 pounds and found the seat to be just right but not much left over room. It is a nice looking walker and will be great (once I get this brake issue resolved) for my elderly relative to use. I do like that you can adjust the height of the wheels and the arm grips. It arrived quickly and was boxed decently. 3.5 stars

I'm going in for T10 to sacrum fusion surgery in about 30 days so I was looking for some specific assistive equipment.
This upright rollator meets all of my requirements except one and that's about the least important requirement. The Homland rollator is very well made with well engineered features that make it easy to assemble/adjust/use. First assembly - all interconnecting parts are labeled so it's just a matter of connecting the numbers, i.e., 1 to 1, 2 to 2, etc., foolproof. Then there's ease of adjustment - there are adjustments for both the height of the legs and the height of the arms, making it fully adjustable for most any relatively normal individual (I'm 5'10" tall). As far as use goes - it's comfortable for sitting and walking. For sitting there's a padded seat and a firm back rest. For walking the wheels are large enough to pass over most in-house obstacles. It also collapses easily although I don't really think it's made for regular transport. I have a number of standard rollators for that purpose. This one will be used in the house 99% of the time. My only issue is that it doesn't have curb assist pedals for raising the front of the rollator to clear higher obstacles. My house has two outdoor doors installed inside the house for security purposes. Without the curb assist pedals I'll have to physically tilt the rollator in order to pass through the curbs at the doors. That will be difficult. However, that would not normally be a feature on an upright walkers so I guess I can't complain too much. A good rollator at a good price.

I am currently dealing with several health issues that sometimes make walking and standing for extended periods difficult. When I saw this upright rollator walker, I immediately thought it might give me the additional support I need.

Assembly was simple, the instructions were easy to follow, and I especially appreciated that no tools were required.

One of my favorite features is the upright design. I prefer this style over a traditional walker because the height can be adjusted so that I can stand more upright rather than feeling as though I have to lean forward while walking. The padded arm supports are comfortable and provide a nice place to rest my forearms while moving.

The frame feels thick, sturdy, and well constructed. The padded 16-inch seat has just the right amount of cushioning for me, making it comfortable when I need to stop and rest. I also appreciate the 300-pound weight capacity, which gives the walker a substantial and reassuring feel.

At roughly 24 pounds, it does have some weight to it, but the pull strap makes it easy to fold. I have a compact SUV, and being able to fold it for transportation is important to me.

The braking system is another feature I appreciate, particularly when I need to stop and sit down. I also don��t go out very often at night, but the reflectors are a thoughtful safety feature for times when visibility is lower.

Overall, I am very pleased with the design and functionality of this rollator. It provides the support I was looking for while still allowing me to stand upright, and the padded seat gives me somewhere comfortable to rest when I need it.
