Frequently Asked Questions

A bedside commode can be used beside the bed with its bucket. The same frame may also sit over a toilet when the bucket is removed, but always check the product instructions and toilet clearance first.

C12 is the clearest fit when side access is important because its arms drop down for transfers. C7 and C9 use fixed side support and are better when a standard seated setup is appropriate.

C9 and C12 add a padded backrest for longer seated routines. C7 focuses on a stable seat and arm support when a more open frame is preferred.

Measure bedside floor space, toilet height and width, doorway clearance and the seat height the user can manage comfortably. Confirm the product footprint and weight capacity on its product page.
